So far living here we have experienced many mysteries. Some of which involve a washer & dryer, dishwasher & disposal, outlets that don't work, switches for lights that we cannot find, and the purpose of a heat lamp in one of the closets upstairs. To date, we have determined the explanation for all of these mysteries. However, there are two that still need researching: a tree that brings forth tons of fruit, and some strange looking animals that we discovered on our 80-acre stroll the other night.
We did not walk the whole 80 acres, but we walked around the pond, over to the neighbors farm (where we discovered some odd-looking animals), through the alfalfa fields, across the ditch bank, and back around to our house. It was quite entertaining for the kids. It was awesome to see the excitement on their faces as they explored the new territory...
We discovered something living in our pond. Not sure what it is because he wouldn't surface after he had discovered that we had seen him! But, he had a long tail that flopped when he went down under the water! The kids watched and waited for him to surface, but we never found him. They watched airplanes fly above our heads (as the airport is not far from our house). They found new flower bushes and creek beds. And they watched these crazy animals stare at us, as we stared at them. Wondering.... what is it???

A dzo alt spelling = "zo" is a male hybrid of a yak and a domesticated cow. A female offspring is known as a dzomo or zhom. In Mongolian it is called hainag. Alternative Tibetan spellings in English include zho and zo.
