Happy Birthday, Megan - Part 1

Megan is in Kindergarten this year and her teacher has designated the last Friday of the month to celebrate all of the birthdays for the month. So, luckily, Megan got to celebrate at school just two days before turning 6. They had cookies, muffins, and juice. And they played "pin the tail on the donkey". Grandma Lori came and watched the kids, so that I could go into the school to celebrate with just her. It was a great moment for the two of us... to have her see me supporting her. It meant a lot to her... to have her mom come. There were 5 other birthdays, but only one other parent came. It was fun to see her at school, interacting with her friends, and seeing how she behaved for her teacher! I was very happy! And she was, too - as you can tell from the big cheesy grin on her face! :]

Happy Birthday Megan! That is great you got to go into her school and be with just them. I know it means so much to them when they just have your attention all to themselves. Kamden keeps asking me when we are going to have mommy/kamden time.

She looks SO HAPPY!
Oh I'm so glad our card got to her before her big day!
I wanna know how she spent it! Or saved it! Whatever!
:]
That's sweet that you got to go in with her on her special celebration at school and be with JUST her. No other siblings around. Just her knowing you cared enough to let her show you off and feel proud! :]

Her hair style looks SO cute on her! LOVE how it's all flipped out and SO BLONDE! MAN! :]
She is growing up beautifully!
Love you both!

Ahh Megan is getting so BIG! Man... the things you miss when you do see them every week! She is blossoming into such a girl! :) Big 6! Yay! Hahaha.

And that is really awesome that only you and one other parent showed up... well sad for those children but wonderful that you are so supportive!

Love you!
